The Hand Series.

In Alexandra’s first-ever published series, she depicts three different hands that symbolize the feelings of Transformation, Hopelessness, and Pride. Hands carry a lot of symbolic weight, whether it’s anger with a closed fist, love by holding hands, or even honesty with an open palm. In the duration of painting these hands, Alexandra has embraced the transformation of becoming a mother, the feeling hopelessness with not being able to make an impactful difference in the world’s suffering, and lastly, the Pride of her Mexican culture with now being able to pass it down to her children.

“Hands are the silent poets of the body.”
